With a hake brush, gently mop the foam in the trough areas of the waves, being careful not to eliminate the brightest highlights. Besides eliminating brushstrokes, this blends out any “pressedin” pattern lines that might still be showing. Also carefully mop the clouds and sky. (see BROAD STROKE & EDGE STROKE for an explanation of mopping.)
